TRAUMA TRAINING IFAK

Below is T2's custom IFAK

T2 has customized an IFAK that is combat ready. The user friendly, ready to use kit has been designed with the operator in mind. The fast tech buckle allows this kit to be sky dived. Once the buckle is released, a single handed pull will open the IFAK. The contents have been strategically arranged to coincide with the order of care following TCCC protocol. The IFAK can hold two (2) extra tourniquets. One can be buckled in across the top of the kit and the second can be stored on the back side of the center flap, in an easy access pouch. The haemostatic agent is tucked in a pouch on the inside cover. The inside flap is velcroed in for easy removal while working on the airway and chest. Here the first responder has a Halo Chest Seal, a 5.5 Trauma Shears, a Naso Airway, a 14 gauge 3.25 inch needle for chest decompression and a water proof marker.  There is a pressure dressing at the base of the flap. There are two (2) gauze and two (2) 3 inch ace wraps to control two (2) additional mild to moderate bleeds. On the back side of the IFAK is another pouch where the Casualty Treatment Card is located.
